Who is involved with ServeCollective?
The leadership of ServeCollective is made up of representatives from many local churches. We are intentional to keep this movement a collective of churches, representing various walks of life, denominations, and locations, but all committed to following and serving Jesus in our community. To learn more about the churches in leadership, go to the Leadership Page.
How do I get involved?
Getting involved is easy. Go to the Volunteer page and browse the many opportunities to serve. Once you’ve found something you’d like to do, select that box to see more information. At the top and bottom of the page there will be sign up buttons for new and returning volunteers. Simply follow the steps to create an account. Once you have created an account, you may continue to sign up for other opportunities through the volunteer page or simply log into your account (link). If you prefer, you may go to the Volunteer page and click on the Assign Me box (link). Follow the instructions to create an account and we will be in touch with ministry ideas and opportunities.
What types of needs does ServeCollective help with?
We help with as many needs as we can. Our service opportunities often include landscaping, clean up, ramp building, and other small handyman projects. We cannot help with any cash, gift card, utility, rent/mortgage or financial assistance.
Can I volunteer with my family?
We love for families of all ages to serve together. Although not all projects will be appropriate for young children, simply search on the Volunteer page for all of the opportunities to serve with your family.
What if the weather is bad?
If the weather is bad on the day of your scheduled service project, your leader will be in touch to let you know if you will be moving forward as planned or rescheduling. If you are unsure or cannot get in touch with your leader, email volunteer@servecollective.org.
Who do I contact if I have questions?
Simply click on the Contact Us email in the black bar at the bottom of any page or email us directly at contact@servecollective.org. We will be in touch within a few days.
How do I sign up for a volunteer opportunity?
ServeCollective targets one day a year for our community projects. The days are referred to as the “Day of Service” or DOS. Our Leadership team works with churches, non-profit organizations, and local cities to determine where our recourses can best be utilized. If you are interested in joining our team, click the VOLUNTEER tab.
From here you will be taken to a registration portal and asked to create an account.
